Surfers beware: A proposed topless optional beach on the North beach would bring more people, parking issues and potential hazards to the prime surfing/fishing beach in the area. Asbury Park is already on the map with more family friendly businesses on the boards, and plenty of venues for freedom of expression in town. More voyeurs, paraders and solicitors will not enhance your encounter with the waves. Asbury needs to keep this beach 'natural' to the native wildlife, surfers, fisherman, dog lovers, and kids. Protect your beach from more people and patrolling. Contact the city council by July 7th!
